Reality TV proved the biggest chart smash of the past decade, with five of the top 10 best-selling singles sung by TV talent show winners - and losers!
Pop Idol 2002 winner Will Young recorded the biggest-selling single, with Anything Is Possible/Evergreen.
More than 1.8 million copies of that single were snapped up by fans.
The person Will beat in the show, Gareth Gates, had the second biggest-seller, with his version of Unchained Melody selling 1.3 million copies.

Other reality stars to make the top 10 were X Factor winners Alexandra Burke and Shayne Ward, and Popstars champions Hear'Say also proved popular.
Charity tunes also did well, with two of the top 10 singles.
Comic Relief track (Is This The Way To) Amarillo was the third biggest-seller, with Band Aid 20's Do They Know It's Christmas? at number six.
Another novelty record completed the top 10, with Bob The Builder's Can We Fix It? selling more than a million copies and coming 10th in the top-selling chart.
