Craig Levein is set to be the new Scotland boss after agreeing a a two-and-a-half-year deal with the Scottish Football Association.

The new boss has not signed his contract yet because he is snowed in at home.

Levein will leave his role as the manager of Dundee United to take over the top job in Scottish footy.

The Dundee club may get compensation from the SFA for releasing Levein before his contract ran out.

Scotland won't be playing in the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, after failing to qualify from their group.

It is hoped that Craig Levein will take on the task of re-vamping Scottish football and help them qualify for the European Championships in 2012.
