Big delays because of snow

Eurostar train

The snow has caused delays and problems for people travelling on the Eurostar train service.

More than 2,000 passengers spent hours trapped on board trains inside the tunnel between France and England.

The trains stopped working as they left the cold air in northern France and entered the hotter tunnel which stopped equipment from working.

The problems have meant that Eurostar trains have been cancelled on Saturday and will start again on Sunday.

The cold weather has also caused problems on the roads in the South-East of England too with lots of drivers forced to sleep in the cars overnight.

More snow is expected in Scotland on Saturday.
