Michael Owen has scored his first hat-trick for Manchester United as they finished top of their Champions League group with a 3-1 win.
They beat German side Wolfsburg even though they had 15 first team players out with injury.
Owen scored once in the first half and twice in the second to keep his hopes of an England World Cup place alive.
Chelsea also finished top of their group after a draw with Apoel Nicosia.
The Blues were already through to the next round so they didn't field their strongest team.
Didier Drogba's goal was only enough to earn Chelsea a draw
Michael Essien and Didier Drogba both scored but it was only enough for a 2-2 draw.
United boss Alex Ferguson was very pleased with Owen's performance and said: "He's proved his worth and we've been delighted with his work tonight."
The Reds still have lots of injury problems to deal with before they face Aston Villa in the Premier League at the weekend.
