Celtic push past Rangers in SPL

Celtic are still in control of the Scottish Premier League after both they and Rangers won their matches.

Celtic cruised to a comfortable 3-0 win against Aberdeen at Celtic Park, while Rangers had to battle for 3-1 victory away to Falkirk.

Celtic had to wait for Scott McDonald's opening goal, but then Georgios Samaras struck twice in the second half.

Aberdeen didn't make it easy for themselves when defender Jerel Ifill was sent off in the second half.

For Rangers, Kris Boyd netted two goals and Kenny Miller scored a penalty, while Pedro Moutinho grabbed the goal for Falkirk.

And Hibernian continued to push both Glasgow teams at the top of the table with another win, beating Motherwell 2-0.

Anthony Stokes scored both goals for Hibs, to take him to five now for the season.
