What do you think about the World Cup draw?

The World Cup in South Africa

England will be playing America, Algeria and Slovenia in the group stages of the World Cup.

It was all decided at a big event in South Africa.

What do you think England's chances are of doing well in the competition?

And if you're not an England fan - and lots of you aren't - which team will you be cheering for when the World Cup gets started?

Unfortunately this topic is now closed but there are Comments pages on other subjects on the main Chat index.

Charlotte, 11, Awkney, Scotland

"England are not the best team in the world. At best they're fifth. They have got an easy group, but will probably not get further than the quarter-finals."

Peter, 13, London, UK

"I think England have a easy group."

Conor, 10, Amersham, England

Liam, 10, Inverness, Scotland

"I can't believe Brazil and Portugal are in the same group!"

Ellie, 11, Leeds, England

"I think England have been handed the easiest group of all the top seeds because Algeria and Slovenia are the two weakest teams in the competition. I think it was unfair that Ireland aren't there because of Thierry Henry but I'll be cheering for Spain as they are the strongest team going to South Africa."

Phillip, 12, Ireland

"It's going to be hard, but England are going to win!"

Emily, 10, Newcastle upon-Tyne England, UK

"Brilliant draw for England, a great start to the World Cup. Come on!"

David, 12, Leicester, England

"England are the best team by far!"
