Britain's Got Talent runner-up Susan Boyle has made chart history by releasing the best-selling debut album since records began!

I Dreamed a Dream shot to number one after selling more than 410,000 copies in its first week - that's more than the rest of the top five combined.

Simon Cowell said he was "incredibly proud" of Susan, adding: "She did it her way and made a dream come true."

Her single, Wild Horses, also made it into the charts at number nine.

But the new number one single is the official Children in Need Medley by Peter Kay's animated All Stars.

It Knocked the X Factor finalists down to number two with their charity single, You Are Not Alone.

Whatcha Say by Jason Derulo stays put at number three, while Black Eyed Peas fell two to number four.

Rihanna scored the highest new entry with Russian Roulette going in at six.
