Rare falcons face extinction

Having a bird of prey as a pet might sound cool but the demand for falcons in Russia is endangering the bird from Siberia and the Far East.

Poaching in the north-east of the country means that only 200 pairs of the birds remain in the wild.

A centre has been set up to look after birds which have been rescued from people trying to smuggle them out of Russia.
