The finalists of X Factor have stormed to the top of the charts with their version of Michael Jackson's You Are Not Alone.

The 12 acts all sang on the track which is raising money for Great Ormond Street Hospital.

It has already sold more than 193,000 copies, making it the second highest-selling single of 2009 so far.

Black Eyed Peas drop one position to number two with Meet Me Halfway and Jason Derulo is in at number three.

X Factor Jamie talks about the single

X Factor judge Simon Cowell said: "I'm absolutely delighted for Great Ormond Street Hospital that the X Factor single has been able to help... It's a complete honour to be involved."

There's also big success for Leona Lewis. Her new record Echo took top spot in the album charts.

After their songs were sung on last week's X Factor, rock legends Queen got to number three with their album of greatest hits.
