Calvin Harris apologises to Jedward

Calvin Harris

Pop star Calvin Harris has said he is sorry for running on to the stage during John And Edward's performance.

The musician was thrown out of the X Factor studios after storming the stage with a pineapple on his head.

The star was due to take part in the ITV 2 programme, The Xtra Factor, but he was asked to leave.

John and Edward continued their performance while Calvin was on stage, saying they thought he was past of the show.

The boy's mentor Louis Walsh described the star, who sang Acceptable In The 80s, as an "idiot". He said the boys did very well to keep performing.

Calvin Harris later posted on his Twitter page that he was sorry if he caused any embarrassment and that he loved Jedward.
