A weakened England side have lost out to Brazil in Doha.
Fabio Capello's squad were beaten 1-0 when Nilmar scored with a header past goalkeeper Ben Foster after 47 minutes.
The score line would have been higher for Brazil if Luis Fabiano had not missed a penalty.
It was a disappointing night for Wayne Rooney who captained the team for the first time but the England manager reckons the match was worth it to see some of the squad players in action.
It was a similar score line for Northern Ireland who lost 1-0 to Serbia at home in Belfast's Windsor Park.
Leaving Wales as the only home nation to pick up a win following their 3-0 victory over Scotland in Cardiff.
