Around 60 people have been injured after a barrier collapsed at a JLS concert.
The band were performing at the switching on of the Birmingham Christmas lights when the crush happened.
Around 20,000 people had turned out for the event, which is much more than the organisers were expecting.
Most of the people were treated at the scene, but four people went to hospital.
The X Factor runners up were just one of the acts set to perform. Sugababes, Tinchy Stryder, Chipmunk, Little Boots and Alexandra Burke were all due to play at the free event at the city's Millennium Point.
An eyewitness recorded the crush on his camera
But as JLS performed their latest hit the crowd pushed forward, breaking the barrier and causing people to fall on top of one another.
The rest of the concert was immediately cancelled and fans were told to go home.
The people who planned the event, Birmingham City Council, say they are now investigating how the accident happened.
