Spurs' win puts them in top four

Tottenham Hotspur v Sunderland

Tottenham Hotspur have edged into the top four of the Premier League with a 2-0 win against Sunderland.

Sunderland dominated the match but had loads of missed chances and wasted their possession at White Hart Lane.

As a result, Robbie Keane was able to score early on, with Tom Huddlestone sealing the win after the break.

Elsewhere, Burnley earned a point in a 3-3 draw against Manchester City, Aston Villa hammered Bolton 5-1, and Blackburn Rovers beat Portsmouth 3-1.

Manchester fought back from 2-0 down at Eastlands to take the lead, but Burnley's Kevin McDonald netted the equaliser in the 87th minute.

Aston Villa gave fans something to cheer about with their convincing victory at Villa Park.

Their five goals included Carlos Cuellar's first for the club, and gives them their first win since mid-October.

Meanwhile, Portsmouth are still bottom of the table after losing out to Blackburn, despite taking the lead early on with a Jamie O'Hara goal.
