This may look like an ordinary owl, but Tommy the female tawny is thought to be the world's first owl with her own account on the micro-blogging site, Twitter.

Tommy started tweeting about her life at Totnes Rare Breeds Farm in Devon, in September.

The five-year-old's been hand-reared at the farm since she was just six weeks old, so she knows who everyone is and has a bird's eye view of what they're up to.

It can be tiring work being an online celebrity though, so she gets farm manager Francesca Ellis to help out with the typing.
