Press Packer Sam went to a children's book festival where loads of things to do with his favourite books and authors were going on.
"I live in Cheltenham and last weekend I visited BOOK IT! - the children's part of The Times Cheltenham Literature Festival.
I liked listening to the authors talk about their books and taking part in fun activities at the festival.
I also really enjoyed the RSPB Nature Guide event on Saturday. We had to hide raisins all around the room and then we talked about all the autumn things that Mike Unwin brought to show us, like conkers, leaves, acorns, berries and teasels.
Afterwards when we had forgotten about the raisins we had to find them again. We drew some birds too.
Crazy cosmic turtle
On Sunday I went to hear a philosopher called Dr Stephen Law who has written a book called Really Really Big Questions. The event was great as he got us to think about the different ideas of how the universe was created and I liked the idea of a crazy cosmic turtle.
My favourite event was probably Frank Cottrell Boyce. He was very funny and told us great stories about how he got the inspiration for his books. He read us a piece from Cosmic and stopped on a cliff-hanger which was really annoying.
It was interesting to find out what books he liked when he was my age - The Moomins and A Wizard of Earthsea.
Martial arts expert
Then I went to see the Young Samurai event where the author, Chris Bradford, showed us a demonstration of Samurai sword skills and read from his books.
He is an expert in martial arts. He told us the sword could be used to cut you in half and make ninja pickle from the guts.
The festival was lots of fun and I enjoyed seeing some of my favourite characters like Maisy wandering around."
