It's official - BMW Sauber's Robert Kubica will be joining Renault in 2010.
The 24-year-old Formula One driver is replacing the team's two-time world champion Fernando Alonso, who's moving on to Ferrari.
Renault bosses described Kubica as "one of the most naturally talented drivers of his generation".
Team principal Bob Bell said: "We are very excited to have signed Robert, ever since he made his grand prix debut in 2006 he has been on our radar."
Kubica, who's currently 14th in the driver's championship, said he's hoping to do much better with his new team.
"I am highly motivated and optimistic that we can be at the front of the grid next year and hopefully fighting for the world title," he said.
