Taio Cruz has taken over the top spot in the singles chart, with Break Your Heart going straight to number one.

Cruz' track toppled Pixie Lott from the top, just a week after her song Boys And Girls debuted at number one too.

Pixie's tune slipped all the way to number six, three places lower than Madonna's latest hit Celebration.

In the album chart Dame Vera Lynn's stay at the top was ended by indie rockers Muse, who saw their latest release The Resistance hit number one.

In fact the top of the album chart is all about new entries, with six in total making debuts in the top 10.

Peter Andre went in at three with Revelation, just ahead of Jay-Z at four with The Blueprint 3 and David Gray's Draw The Line at five.

Pixie Lott's Turn It Up debuted at six and old-school rocker Mark Knopfler took Get Lucky to number nine.
