Fifth one-day win for Australia

England's cricketers have lost again to Australia in their one-day series - making it five losses in a row.

England batted first and after a slow start managed to score 299 runs in the 50 overs allowed.

But Australian captain Ricky Ponting put in an amazing performance, smashing the English bowlers around the ground.

Australia ended up winning the match by four wickets. They now lead the seven- game series 5-0, and are be on course for a 7-0 whitewash.

England are struggling to play well in the shorter form of the game after beating Australia in the Ashes series over the summer.

England captain Andrew Strauss said: "It's bitterly disappointing... It was a frustrating day."

The next one-day game is on Thursday.
