Jay-Z and friends top the chart

Jay-Z has stormed to the top of the singles chart with help from Rihanna and Kanye West, with Run This Town going straight in at number one.

Sugababes were right behind, with the second highest entry at number two with Get Sexy.

Last week's number one, Holiday by Dizzee Rascal, dropped all the way to number four in the chart.

Over in the album countdown, Dame Vera Lynn become the oldest living artist to have a number two hit - aged 92!

The singer, who became famous around 70 years ago for her Second World War hit We'll Met Again, was kept from the top spot by the Arctic Monkeys - but she was still delighted.

Dame Vera said said: "I'm so surprised, I can't quite believe it! It really is amazing that this has happened after all these years."
