A nursing robot built in the shape of a teddy bear has been unveiled in Japan.

Called RIBA, which is short for Robot for Interactive Body Assistance, it's designed to help doctors and nurses by lifting patients in and out of their beds.

There are no immediate plans to market the robo-nurse just yet but its inventors say it could be really handy on busy hospital wards.
