Chelsea have been banned from signing any new players until January 2011.
Footie bosses Fifa punished the club after deciding they'd encouraged teenager Gael Kakuta to break his contract with French side Lens so he could join the Blues.
It's hoped the tough punishment will act as a warning to other clubs not to break world transfer rules.
So do you think Chelsea got what they deserved, or is the ban too tough?
What punishment would you have given the club? Do you think the ban will help your team do better?
Maybe you think it's about time Fifa showed the clubs who's boss and made them all stick to the rules more closely.

"I don't really like Chelsea. I only like them a little bit but yes, I don't think they really should be punished at all."
Bethany, 8, Kent, England
"I think the ban was fair and if any other team broke the rules they would have to pay the price as well. They need to stop thinking they can get special treatment even when they have done something wrong."
Ash, 12, Birmingham, England
"It's terrible. A ban on buying players until March 2010 maybe and even that I'm not so sure about. But 2011 it is ridiculous they shouldn't be doing that."
Amber, 11, Devon, England
"It is a bit harsh but Chelsea need to know that the rules are there for a reason, and that they need to follow them."
Calum, 13, Scotland
"I think it's too tough to ban Chelsea from getting more players because lots of different clubs are getting more players."
Isaac, 10, Devon, England
"No, it should be not as long as it is now or they should have been fined some money."
Saz, 12, West Midlands, England
"I think it is that fair big teams should not be allowed to steal young talent from small teams, especially without the manager's permission."
Jim, 11, Glasgow, Scotland
"I think that Fifa are right to give them a ban because the rules are the rules and you shouldn't break them."
Jade, 14, London, England
"I am not a Chelsea fan but think that the punishment is quite harsh although the fine is reasonable. However, if Fifa suspend lots of clubs to whom they give this ban, then there will be no point in issuing it in the first place."
Nadia, 13, Berkshire, England
"I think EVERYONE, when they break the rules should really face the consequences whether it's tough or not."
Lma, 11, Leicester, England
"No, Chelsea got what was coming to them. Arsenal all the way!!"
Elisha, 13, Leicester, England
"I think the punishment fair, because if Chelsea were prepared to break the rules, they should be prepared to take the punishment."
Tilly, 12, East Sussex, England
"I think the punishment is good, as someone has to set the rules, and it also sends a message out to all the other teams. Many people could class this tactic as cheating."
Sian, 13, West Sussex, England
"I feel really bad about it because they were at the top of the table and now while all the other teams are planning to buy more people we can't, it is so unfair."
Patrick, 10, Somerset, England
"I personally think it's far too tough, what would happen if they couldn't buy new star players and old star players like the legendary Ashley Cole left. No-one would be there!"
Theodore, 10, Harrogate, England
"No they deserved it for breaking the rules or what it was they did."
Liam, 12, Morpeth, England
"I'm a Chelsea supporter and I think their punishment is too harsh."
Leah, 10, Hampton, England
"I think that this is so not fair. Gael Kakuta should have known and told them that he will only join Chelsea after his contract with the other team has ended. I support Chelsea by the way."
Aakash, 10, London, England
"Yes, They broke the rules and they need to learn that you SHOULD NOT break rules, they do it in school, home and work so why not in football?"
Monique, 11, Liverpool, England
"I think that they shouldn't punish Chelsea because other teams sometimes do really bad things."
Emily, 10, London, England
"I am not really a fan of Chelsea but I reckon it is kind of unfair."
David, 10, Swindon, England
"I think the ban is far too harsh, it is an overreaction. Teams don't seem to be punished so much for much worse crimes such as crowd trouble and racism."
Sam, 10, London, England
"It's not fair coz two years is a long time."
Andrew, 6, Aberdeen, Scotland
"I think that this punishment is fair because Chelsea knowingly broke the rules and so must face the consequences."
Jess, 12, Worcestershire, England
"I'm not a big fan of Chelsea I'm more of a Liverpool girl. I believe that they got what they deserved because they knew the rules."
Emily, 11, Nottingham, England
"I think the ban should be reduced because Chelsea are a big club and they need all the players they can get!"
Zainab, 14, Coventry, England
"It isn't fair to ban them from getting players."
James, 13, Plymouth, England
"I think it's not fair to give them a punishment."
Muna, 12, Birmingham, England
"I think the ban is very good. I am a Chelsea supporter, I go to every game both home and away and even I agree with it!!"
Gertuwda, 14, Carlisle, England
"That's their fault if they didn't let him go to his other team. I'm happy and think they should make the ban longer. Go Man Utd!"
Courtney, 12 , Belfast, Northern Ireland
"Well, if they broke the rules they should face the consequences. Chelsea is full of ageing players with quite a few of their key players in their 30s like Lampard, Ballack Drogba."
Adrian, 10, London, England
"What difference does it make? Yeah so he ended the contract early, so what? Two years punishment for that? I'd say two years if he'd signed up on the day but this is ridiculous Fifa shouldn't ban Chelsea, they didn't force him."
Jess, 10, Cardiff, Wales
"Chelsea are a good team and what they did was wrong but that was a bit harsh by Fifa."
Harry, 12, Buckinghamshire, England
"It's too harsh but they need to learn their lesson."
Sharmane, 11, London, England
"I think it is fair because they have broken a world transfer rule and they should be punished!"
Matthew, 12, London, England
"We are Chelsea fans and we think it's unfair and not very professional. We think Fifa are being ridiculous!!"
Francesca and Henry, 13 and 10, Leicester, England
"I support Chelsea and yes it is bad they broke the rules but two years is quite a long time!"
Jessica, 13, Northamptonshire, England
"I believe FIFA have unfairly used Chelsea as they are a big club. Lots of other clubs cheat but Chelsea are probably the only high profile one."
James, 10, UK
"They need a tougher punishment."
Rose, 9, England
"They broke the rules. Don't do the crime if you can't do the time!"
Ciara, 9, Ireland
"Yes, I am glad that they got punished because they're a big club and I think they should have been banned for four years!"
John, 10, Devon, England
"It's fair because they broke a rule, and it's making sure that other teams don't break the same rule."
Jessica, 11, Lincoln, England
"Chelsea deserve it, they should have been clever enough to tell that they were totally in the wrong to buy that player!!! They should have known. Think before your actions Chelsea!"
Aoibh, 9, Ireland
"They got what they deserved!"
Scott, 11, Wales
"I think the punishment Chelsea have been given is way too harsh. It is OTT!"
Aaron, 11, Basingstoke, England
"I think it is far too tight that Chelsea are not allowed to buy any players for two years. I think Chelsea should be able to buy players."
Samuel, 10, Northern Ireland
"They should not have this punishment, it's so harsh!"
Ben, 7, London, England
"I think it's fair that they're banned, but one and a half years is too long, it should be just to the end of the year."
Charlotte, 10, Midlands, England
"I think it's unfair because it was the player's decision."
Ben, 9, Oxford, England
"I think it is very unfair for Chelsea to have this punishment. They made a honest mistake."
Harry, 11, Kent, England
"I think Chelsea should return the player back to his previous football club and apologise."
Emily, 11, London, England
"I don't care! I've never liked football and never will. If it was rugby then I would have a proper say!"
Laura, 12, Kilkenny, Ireland
"It's fair enough because they broke the rules by tapping up that player. They still might win the league because they have a quality squad."
Nathan, 11, Essex, England
"I think their punishment was good because it will teach other clubs not to do it too."
Ben, 14, Berkshire, England
"I think it too tough to ban them for two years. It should be the next transfer time in January or just one year not two years."
Max, 12, Surrey, England
"I think it is fair because a club like Chelsea would never have a ban like that but if it happened to a lower league club then the punishment would be more serious."
Ben, 12, Hertfordshire, England
"I think it is unfair on Chelsea. And I do not want anything to happen to Chelsea because I support Chelsea."
Sarah, 12, Sunderland, England
"I think that Chelsea will suffer BIG TIME! Other clubs like Man United, Arsenal and Liverpool will benefit from Chelsea's ban, as they will have one less club to battle against when trying to sign new players. It is their own fault."
Rhianna, 11, London, England
"I think the punishment is too harsh and they should be able to transfer other players after all. I bet they're not the only team who have ever broken a rule. What about Manchester United that always dive in every match? I think Chelsea are doing nothing wrong."
Jack, 14, Leicester, England
"I'm not a football fan but all I know is Chelsea broke the rules and something has to happen."
Louis, 11, Nottingham, England
"I think it is far too harsh and the ban should be taken off immediately."
Jonny, 10, Berkshire, England
"I think it is shocking because what will happen if they start losing? They will blame the FA and they will blame them and that won't be good for the FA and the players might leave."
Stuart, 11, Tyne and Wear, England
"Chelsea shouldn't be punished because he broke the rules. If Chelsea told him to jump off a cliff would he? I don't think so. I'm a Chelsea fan so people think I'm just doing it because of that but no. Isn't £600,000 enough? It would be for me anyway."
Lewis, 10, Lancashire, England
"I think it is perfectly fair because if I was the guy deciding the punishment it would be until January 2014! Liverpool all the way!!!!"
McFlurry, 13, England
"I think it is a harsh punishment for Chelsea because they didn't actually force him to join, he didn't have to take the job and break the rules. But I support Arsenal so I'm not really bothered."
Elisha, 11, Suffolk, England
"It's way too harsh, Chelsea depend on new players every season and without being able to buy new players they will certainly not win the Prem the next couple of years. They don't have enough skill in the team and Chelsea have the highest average team age. In my opinion Jose Mourinho had a winning team and they need him back or someone better to succeed."
Nathan, 14, South Humberside, England
"Finally, Chelsea have got what they deserved. Even though I may sound biased as I am an Arsenal fan, it's a great new rule and warning to other clubs. Hopefully cheating Chelsea will have learnt their lesson."
Alfie, 14, Hertfordshire, England
"I think Chelsea should be relegated for that stunt, what they got was too light. They were lucky in my eyes."
Aidan, 14, London, England
"I think it was too tough and unfair."
Michael, 8, England
"They deserve the ban, they try to buy themselves to the top of the league. This is exactly what they deserve. It would be fun to see how they can cope without buying any players for a while! I'm not a Chelsea supporter but I still think they have enough good players to still come very high in the league."
Edward, 12, Essex, England
"I think that you could at least cut the fine down a bit because it could cause a lot of fights and arguments."
Robyn, 10, Kent, England
"I think it isn't very clever, it's too harsh. I think the fine is enough.
Miles, 9, Surrey, England
"I think it is really bad. Drogba might retire and we'd need a better player than all the subs."
Robert, 9, Surrey, England
"I think Chelsea are a good side and can can cope with the ban."
Joseph, 12, Leicestershire, England
"It's too harsh a punishment but it was a pretty bad thing do."
Kirsten, 9, Bath, England
"The ban is completely fair, the team broke the rules and therefore should be punished. It's not as if the rules don't apply to them. Hopefully the ban will teach them and other teams not to break the rules."
Greta, 12, Birmingham, England
"Hahaha shame Chelsea I feel sorry for you...NOT. Fifa says you broke the rules - you broke the rules."
Mick, 12, Swindon, England
"It's too tough, cut it down because it's just really too harsh. Why is it so bad other teams have done the same as what Chelsea FC did so sort them out. Don't just come rushing and hitting on us."
Jessica, 10, Kent, England
"I think it is wrong. Chelsea's punishment is too harsh. they are a good football team and always need new players."
Lauren, 14, London, England
"Chelsea should be allowed to buy players through their own free will. I think think they should only be banned in the next transfer window, if any ban has to be in place."
Patrick, 12, London, England
"Chelsea deserve it and it's good that they can't buy any new players and can't beat Arsenal any more."
Ismail, 14, Birmingham, England
"I think their punishment is fair. They probably knew they were going to get in trouble but they went ahead and did it anyway."
Georgia, 13, Wales
"I think from a neutral position - I support Norwich - this is totally unfair. Fifa could have sorted this out with a fine and Chelsea will undoubtedly lose ground on the top four. This harsh punishment will take its toll sooner rather than later..."
Finley, 13, Buckinghamshire, England
"The rules are the rules and Chelsea are a top club, so they should know better not to do it. Chelsea should pay for it as it is their own fault, so they have no reason to defend themselves. They got banned for the right reason and it is not harsh at all, FIFA know what they're doing."
Rory, 11, Worthing, England
"I think it's unfair that they can't get new players, because what's going to happen when one of them gets injured? How are they going to play?"
Joanna, 11, London, England
"I don't know much about football but I think it is quite tough."
Colette, 12, Glasgow, Scotland
"It serves them right. If you break the rules you should get punished."
Katie, 10, Stoke, England
"I think it is very harsh on Chelsea but I don`t really care because I support Liverpool. I think it will damage Chelsea so much and they will lose ground on Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool."
Sean, 11, Amersham, England
"I think Chelsea's punishment is far too tough and I also think Chelsea should stand up to FIFA and not let them boss them around."
Adam, 11, Fife, Scotland
"I agree with Fifa, because Chelsea broke the rules."
Ethan, 10, Bristol, England
"I think the rules are too tough because people like professional players have a chance, but people who are not professionals yet are really good and don't get a chance to play."
Ella, 9, Brentwood, England
"I think they got off lightly because they knew the rules and disobeyed them... Even though they have got off to a flying start this season, they will struggle next season with no new signings and players who are already in the club possibly leaving next season."
Sam, 14, Halesowen, England
"I think it's unfair because if this was Barcelona or Real Madrid it wouldn't have been this bad a punishment."
Ellie, 13, Portsmouth, England
"I think Chelsea deserve their punishment for breaking the rules! It's perfectly fair, and it would happen to any other club who broke the rules!"
Charlie, 12, Southampton, England
"I think it's fair, because they're the ones that broke the rules."
Ellis, 11, Burton-on-Trent, England
