Manchester United returned to winning form with a 5-0 win away to Wigan in the Premier League, with Michael Owen scoring his first goal for the club.

Wayne Rooney struck twice and Dimitar Berbatov scored too, before Owen came onto the pitch as a substitute.

He then grabbed a goal with a smart finish, before Nani curled in a free-kick to seal a thumping win.

Arsenal were also big winners, beating bottom-of-the-table Portsmouth 4-1 at the Emirates Stadium.

Abou Diaby with two goals, William Gallas and Aaron Ramsey all netted goals for the Gunners, while Younes Kaboul scored the goal for Portsmouth.
