First look at animated Doctor Who

Doctor Who fans might not be getting a full series this year, but they're certainly getting loads of Time Lord action as this new picture shows.

It's the first look of how the Doctor will appear in a new animated adventure called Dreamland.

David Tennant will be providing the Doctor's voice.

The six-part show will be shown on the BBC's Red Button and on the Doctor Who website, and then broadcast all in one go on CBBC and BBC Two.

Dreamland sees the Doctor visiting Roswell, a place in America famous for UFO sightings.

Georgia has already appeared in Doctor Who

He finds a mysterious alien object, which sets him off on an adventure taking on baddies called the Viperox.

He'll be joined by a companion called Cassie Rice, played by Georgia Moffett.

And if she sounds familiar, it's because she's already made an appearance in the Who-niverse as the Doctor's daughter, Jenny.
