Owston's Civets

This is one of two baby Owston's Civets born at Newquay Zoo in Cornwall.

Civets are small carnivores with long bodies and short legs. Although they are nocturnal visitors are able to see the mammals through a special viewing window at the zoo's civet enclosure.

The little cubs are very rare and an endangered species. They've been named Dong Hoi and Dong Ha after two Vietnamese islands.
