T-rex removed from beach

Tex gets towed away

A huge sculpture of a tyrannosaurus rex has been removed from a beach in the south of England after officials said it was dangerous.

The six metre model, called Tex, was put in Weymouth Bay by local man Paul Swaffield, to get tourists to come to the area.

The local coast is known for having lots of dinosaur fossils.

But the £2,000 model had the be towed away after the council decided it broke safety rules.
