English cricketers have drawn the first Test match of the Ashes series against Australia in Cardiff.
It was a nail-biting final day of the five-day match, with Australia looking almost certain to win.
England needed to bat all day to avoid defeat, but at lunch were in deep trouble after losing five wickets.
Paul Collingwood was the star for England, batting for almost six hours, scoring 74 and helping the team hang on for the draw.
Earlier in the game, England had scored 435 in their first innings. Australia then went into bat and notched up a massive 674 runs.
Monty Panesar and James Anderson earned a draw for England
England's second innings started terribly, with most of their best batsmen getting out without scoring many runs.
But England clung on, with their last two batsmen managing to bat for the last 45 minutes without losing their wickets.
There are five Test matches being played in the series. The next one starts on 16 July at Lord's in London.
