Madonna's stage tribute to Jackson
Fans have rushed to get their hands on tickets for Michael Jackson's memorial service, with more than 1.6 million applicants for the 11,00 places.
The tickets to the event in Los Angeles are free, but fans had to enter their details on line. Winners are being picked at random.
Another 6,500 tickets are available for a screening of the event at a theatre.
The website where fans could apply ios now closed, and people who are selected will be told by email late on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Madonna paid tribute to Michael at a show in London.
During one of her songs, and dancer dressed as Jackson came on stage to perform.
Madonna shouted to the crowd: "Give it up for one of the greatest artists the world has ever known, Michael Jackson- long live the King!"
