Harry Potter star had swine flu

Rupert Grint

Harry Potter actor Rupert Grint had swine flu, but is recovering, according to his spokesman.

Rupert, who plays Ron Weasley, had to take a few days off filming to beat the bug, but soon returned to the set of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

And he's well enough to attend the world premiere of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in London on Tuesday.

"He has now recovered and is looking forward to joining his fellow cast members," his publicist said.

Rupert's illness didn't hold up filming, as the crew simply shot scenes which he wasn't in.

The next movie in the series, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, is released in the UK on 15 July.
