Are you excited about the Half-Blood Prince?

A scene from Harry Potter and Half-Blood Prince

The sixth Harry Potter film, the Half-Blood Prince, is about to appear in cinemas around the world.

Some of the most important moments in the entire series happen in the book, so are you excited about seeing the film?

Producers say there are some new scenes in the film, that don't come from JK Rowling's story, so are you looking forward to seeing them?

And have you read the books, or are you finding out what happens in the films first?

Unfortunately these comments are now closed, but there are other topics on the Chat page.

Your comments

"I went to see it the day after it came out and I have to say I was very disappointed, by not only the lack of Voldemort but also by the fact that it contained very little of the book in it. I thought Half-Blood Prince was going to be more like the book."

Chelsea, 13, USA

"Of course I am going to see it. I think it's so much better than the others! I especially like the clip of the Millennium Bridge collapsing into the Thames!! I think it's a 10 star film!!!"

Hannah, 9, London, England

"I just can't wait. It took me so long to find tickets, so I have to wait a week and a half."

"I was really looking forward to seeing it on Wednesday, the day it came out! My dad said he'd take me and my brother especially, as we were really disappointed when it was delayed eight months! But then on the Tuesday I was taken home from school as my brother had swine flu and I had to stay off school with him! No Harry Potter for me!"

It was such a knockback when Warner Bros decided not to release the film for nine months later than planned. Someone could have had a baby in that time. Anyway, after this wait, it should be fantastic. It looks like the best yet."
