England women win World Twenty20

England's women cricketers lift their trophy

England's women have beaten New Zealand by six wickets to win the Women's World Twenty20 tournament at Lord's.

The home side got off to a good start when some great bowling by Katherine Brunt helped to get New Zealand all out for just 85 runs.

It gave England a low target to win and they claimed the victory by six wickets and with 18 balls left to play.

It's a fantastic result for England's women cricketers who've already triumphed in the Ashes and World Cup.

Later in the day, Pakistan claimed glory in the men's Twenty 20 final, beating Sri Lanka by eight wickets.

Shahid Afridi hit 54 runs from 40 balls to help Pakistan reach a winning total of 139-2, after Sri Lanka's 138-6.
