Press Packers Pearl and Laura were part of a team who arranged and took part in a special sports event.
They tell about their triathlon experience:
"Our teacher, Ms Myers, told us she was creating a primary school triathlon that we could be part of.
And beforehand we were even able to help decide the logo and what it was going to be called as there was a competition for the best ideas!
When we were coming up with ideas I joked that it should be call Ms Myathlon just to be silly. And then later on I found out that Ms Myers liked Myathlon because it created a sense of belonging!
The event

Firstly, we did 30m swimming, then straight on to 800m cycling and lastly we did the running which was 350m.
It was good as when we did the cycling there was an expert to help us set off.
And at the end we got a medal for the huge achievement of finishing!
Great combination
We really enjoyed it because it was a break from work and it was great as it is a combination of three fun sports activities in one race!"
