Saturdays' singer takes a tumble

Vanessa White

The Saturday's singer Vanessa White performed in a wheelchair at a gig in Dundee after falling down a flight of stairs on stage.

The unlucky singer tripped over as she was coming on stage for the band's first song of the show.

But she was such a trooper that she came back on after having her sprained foot bandaged up.

Her band mate Rochelle Wiseman said online: "She is a trooper and sang her heart out."

Her record company said she would be well enough to perform with the rest of The Saturdays as they support Take That in Sunderland on Saturday.

The band are due on Stage in Oxford on Friday night and White will also be appearing there too.
