Kaka Chelsea move ruled out

Despite lots of rumours, AC Milan player Kaka will not be moving to Chelsea, according to the Italian club.

Kaka's thought to be close to moving to Spanish side Real Madrid for £56m, but reports claimed Chelsea, had made a late £73m bid.

But AC Milan chief executive Adriano Galliani said that was untrue.

Some people thought Chelsea might make a bid for Kaka because their new boss, Carlo Ancelotti, used to run Milan and might want to bring Kaka with him.

"An agreement with Chelsea could not exist. Kaka goes to Real or he remains at Milan," Galliani told an Italian newspaper.

A while ago former Ancelotti, who takes over as Chelsea manager on 1 July, said: "There is one player I would like to sign but I cannot take him with me."

Reports have also linked the Blues with two other Milan players - Brazilian Alexandre Pato and Italian midfielder Andrea Pirlo - but Galliani insisted no other big players would be leaving the team.
