British Lions roar to big victory

The British and Irish Lions hit top form in South Africa after roaring to a 74-10 win against the Golden Lions.

It was the second match of the tour and after a stumbling start in the team's first game, this was much better.

The British Lions bagged 10 tries as they continued to get ready for the first of three Test matches against South Africa on 20 June.

Jamie Roberts, Ugo Monye and Tommy Bowe all scored two tries in the win, and Stephen Jones kicked 18 points.

The British Lions are expected to win the early matches on the tour, but perhaps not by so many points.

Ireland's Brian O'Driscoll was the captain for the match, and he played brilliantly, setting up the first try and scoring the second himself.

It was a much happier appearance for O'Driscoll than the last time he pulled on a Lions shirt in New Zealand four years' ago.

That was in the first Test against the All Blacks, and the Irish star was injured and forced out of the tour by a horror tackle after only one minute of the game.
