I carried the FA Cup - and met Diversity!

Me and my family at Wembley

Press Packer Nathan is a massive Everton fan.

And thanks to a competition he got to carry the cup onto the pitch for the FA Cup final - and met stars of Britain's Got Talent.

Here is Nathan's story:

"I support Everton and had been to all the FA Cup home games with my dad including the semi-final at Wembley, when Everton beat Manchester United on penalties.

However I couldn't go to the final because my dad couldn't get any tickets. I was really disappointed!

My dad's cousin entered a competition to win tickets for the FA Cup final between Everton and Chelsea and he won.

But as well as wining tickets, he won a prize for someone to walk on the pitch with the trophy at the final and he chose me!

It has been really exciting. The FA Cup was brought to my school, the BBC came to my house and school and I was on the telly, radio and in the newspaper.

We stayed in a hotel close to Wembley the night before the final and we were really lucky because all the acts from Britain's got Talent were staying there too.

I got to meet them! It was really good, we got loads of photos and I met Diversity.

On the day of the final I had to be in Wembley very early and had to practise walking out with the cup. I was given a new Everton kit and a goody bag from the FA.

When I had to walk out for real with all the players, other mascots and the cup I wasn't really that scared as I was really enjoying everything and the noise was that loud I couldn't hear anything, but it was very exciting.

I was then taken to meet my Dad and by the time I got to my seat Everton had already scored and I had missed the goal.

Chelsea ended up beating us 2-1 but we still had a fantastic time and enjoyed everything apart from getting beaten."
