Kids' views on the expenses row
The row over extra cash politicians can claim while doing their job is making people across the UK really cross.
As well as being paid for their work, politicians also claim expenses, which is money for things they need to help them do their job properly.
But it's been revealed that some were claiming for things like dog food, loos seats, flash furniture or even cleaning their swimming pools!
As a result, lots of people think some politicians are greedy and can't be trusted, but what do you think?
Does it make you less trusting of politicians? Do you think the public should have a say on what MPs can claim for?
Maybe you think it's all a big fuss about nothing? Whatever you think, let us know!

"MPs that knowingly took money for things they knew shouldn't be claimed for should be prosecuted for fraud."
Michyla, 14, Surrey, England
"I don't think people should blame the MPs. It's the system that's corrupt. All the MPs did was follow the rules."
Hannah, 11, Norwich, England
"We are supposed to be in a recession, and they go out and spend the money which should go to good use, not to clean out a moat!"
Kate, 12, Yorkshire, England
"This is just greedy. Our parents slave away at their work to get money to pay taxes and instead MPs are using it to clean their swimming pools and other things they could save up for or do themselves."
Hannah, 10, Kingston-Upon-Thames, UK
"It doesn't matter whether they were allowed to use it or not! Does that make it right? Normal, poor people pay taxes for school and hospitals and police, then MPs just take it and use it for themselves!?"
Jordan, 12, Newcastle, England
"I think it is not right of them but it's not against the law. They know the rules, but they are trying to find faults in them. It shows they don't care about their constituencies."
David, 12, Leicester, England
"I think that is so greedy of them to do such a thing! They should feel embarrassed, as they have stolen from the public! Not only should they pay back, but also they should be sacked, and someone honest should be put in charge!!!"
Faeqa, 11, London, England
"I think it's OUTRAGEOUS what they're doing. It's OK if they're buying essentials but if they're cleaning swimming pools for example it's really bad!"
Emma, 11, Denbeigh, Wales
"It is totally ridiculous. MPs are constantly going on about ways to help people out with the economic crisis but are claiming all this money!"
Junique, 11, Aberdeen, UK
"I think that this was very selfish and greedy of them because people work hard for their money and most of that money goes to pay their taxes."
Shantz, 15, London, England
"I think they're greedy because other people don't have a lot of money, but yet they're claiming stupid things like dog food, and the cleaning of their swimming pools?"
Rose, 11, London, England
"The money was there for them to use so they had every right to use it. Why are adults so fussed when they pay their tax knowing some MP might use it for something they need?"
Beth, 12, England
"I think they should have said what they were doing instead of saying sorry because it's not good enough."
Charlie, 11, Manchester, England
"I think that if you're given an opportunity to claim expenses then you're a fool if you don't!"
Leo, 11, Cardiff, Wales
"THEY DIDN'T BREAK ANY RULES! They were allowed to use the money which they used!"
Tom, 13, Blackpool, England
"Why should they go around claiming money for silly things they could get themselves? They're all rich! We're not!"
Olivia, 12, England
"I think it is stupid that they are using our parents' money to claim for stupid things. Second houses, fair enough, but dog food? These people have no sense."
Gloria, 15, London, England
"I don't care what they're trying to say now, they're just trying to cover it up! Everyone knows that they've done it!"
Laura, 12, Kilkenny, Ireland
"They don't have any sense. All they care about is their money. They should only claim for what they need."
Anisah, 10, Edinburgh, Scotland
"I think that this is going overboard and when I grow up I would like to be the prime minister. If I did, I wouldn't like to deal with this."
Mehvish, 11, UK
"I think politicians can't be trusted and they're greedy, but sometimes they are good people."
Ilham, 10, London, England
"My Dad says they are allowed to claim for that stuff because they are an MP. They have to buy a second home but they should not be able to claim for nappies and food though."
Anna, 10, Warwick, England
"I don't feel cross about what they are doing because at the end of the day they are still doing there job. So I think they should carry on the way they are and other people should stop being jealous."
Shakira, 15, Ipswich, England
