After the break, midfielder Ji-Sung Park had plenty to celebrate as he smashed home United's second, off a pass from Wayne Rooney, to seal the win.

At Stamford Bridge, Chelsea got off to a storming start against Fulham as Nicolas Anelka put them ahead after just 51 seconds.

But Chelsea didn't have it all their own way - minutes later Fulham striker Erik Nevland fired a shot past goalie Petr Cech to equalise.

Florent Malouda was set up by Didier Drogba to score the Blues' second goal, before Drogba netted his own shot later on to help Chelsea to their 3-1 win.

Meanwhile, Manchester City scored three times in the first half to beat Blackburn Rovers 3-1 - their first home Premier League win over Blackburn in 16 years.

At Portsmouth, Arsenal thrashed Pompey 3-0 to book their place in next season's Champions League. It's not surprising Carlos Vela looks so happy, he scored the third goal!

Nicklas Bendtner opened the scoresheet when Portsmouth goalie David James fumbled his header into the net, before grabbing a second from the penalty spot.

Elsewhere, West Ham's Diego Tristan fired a great 20-yard free-kick past Stoke goalie Thomas Sorensen to give the Hammers a 1-0 victory at the Britannia Stadium.

Only one Premier League match ended in a goalless draw on Saturday. Wigan and Bolton battled back and forth on the pitch, but neither side could break the deadlock.
