Hotseat: Miley Cyrus

See what happened when Gavin met Miley

Miley Cyrus has been in the UK to promote her latest film - Hannah Montana: The Movie.

We sent Gavin along to meet her and get answers to some of YOUR questions for the star.

Check out what she had to say about her character in the film, what pets she'd like and her most embarrassing moment!

How does making Hannah Montana the movie compare to making the series?

We wanted to keep the movie similar enough so the younger kids who like the series can enjoy it but also to make it a little bit more mature for the older audience.

Is your new movie closely related to your real life?
- Maria, 12, London

It is. However, I couldn't be like the Hannah Montana character because my music is a bit more honest.

I want my music to be a bit more about my real life. I wouldn't be able to not write music about that but she's not allowed because it would give away her secret, so it's a little different.

Are Miley Cyrus and Miley Stewart alike or different and why?
- Zarah, 13, Leicester

I think a lot alike because we both like being normal and being able to hang out with our friends and being very loyal. She is a loyal friend.

How hard is it to learn a new script when you're filming for the series and for the film?
- Catherine, 12, Bristol

It depends because if there's an episode that's my favourite one I memorise the lines within a day.

I think I learn easiest when I'm acting with Emily Osment (who plays Lilly) because me and her are best friends, but if you're acting with someone you don't know as well it's harder because you guys don't know how to react with each other.

What's the most embarrassing thing you've ever done?
- Jessica, 14, Halifax

You know how quiche is spelled, right? It's, like, Q U, and I looked at it and I was in the middle of everyone and I was like 'What's q-w-i-ches?' and they were like 'Qwiches? You mean quiche?' and I was like 'They spell it so weird here' and they were like 'It's like that in America too.' I was like, dumb idea, because it was in front of everyone. It was pretty funny.

And I called Rome a country.

If you could have any animal in the world what would it be?
- Jaime, 12, Nottingham

A kangaroo, which I might get - my mum said maybe. But you know they get mean when they're older? When they grow up and you say something they don't like they punch you, so my mum was like 'Maybe not'. But we looked at one and she said I might get it.

What would you do if you lost your voice?
- Claire, 13, Scotland

I don't know, I honestly don't. That would be really horrible.

If I wasn't an actor or singer I would be a photographer.
