Here's a treat for Harry Potter fans - lots of new pics of the next film, The Half-Blood Prince, have been released. So what are Harry and Ron sneaking a look at here then?

Harry's likely to be pretty busy in the film as Professor Dumbledore needs his help in their battle to defeat Lord Voldemort.

And judging by Dumbledore's expression here it looks the tasks the pair are trying to complete are pretty tough ones.

Professor Horace Slughorn is the new potions master. He's needed because Professor Snape has finally got the job he's always wanted - teaching Defence against the Dark Arts.

This is Draco Malfoy's mum Narcissa. We met her big sister Bellatrix Lestrange in the last film, The Order of the Phoenix. She is the cousin of Harry's godfather, Sirius Black.

Fenrir Greyback is one of the most fearsome of Lord Voldemort's Death Eaters. He is a werewolf and turned Remus Lupin into one when he bit him.

Fenrir is not the only Death Eater on the loose in the Half-Blood Prince. They become quite open during the film, attacking Muggles and their cities.

In the book of the Half-Blood Prince the prime minister talks about the destruction of a bridge. It looks like we'll be seeing it actually happen in the film...

Back at Hogwarts there is a new addition to the Gryffindor Quidditch team - Ginny Weasley. According to the books Ron is already in the team as goalkeeper.

And Ron's performances in goal make him the hero for once, enjoying the celebrations in the Gryffindor common room.

As for Ginny. Well it seems pretty obvious what's about to happen in this picture. Looks like Harry has moved on from Cho Chang...

The story in the book sees a number of students attacked. One of them is nearly killed by an enchanted necklace, which is probably what we can see here.

So what is Professor Snape up to in this image? That looks like Hagrid's hut on fire behind him.
