Jade Goody dies aged 27
TV star Jade Goody has died aged 27 after losing her fight against cancer.
She died in her sleep at home in Essex, on Sunday morning. Her mum Jackiey Budden, who was at her side said: "My beautiful daughter is at peace."
Jade, who first became famous when she starred in Big Brother in 2002, had cancer which spread, making her too ill for doctors to cure her.
Prime Minister Gordon Brown described Goody as "a courageous woman both in life and death".
Mr Brown added: "The whole country has admired her determination to provide a bright future for her children."
Teddy tribute to Jade
On Sunday lots of people left flowers and teddies outside the gates of Jade's family home in Essex.
Jade married partner Jack Tweed on 21 February at Down Hall Country House Hotel in Essex. OK! magazine is thought to have paid £700,000 to cover the event.
Jade said all the money would be passed on to her sons, Bobby and Freddy, to make sure they are well looked after when they get older.
