Super Mario Galaxy was the surprise winner of the biggest prize of the night at the Bafta video game awards, winning best Game of the Year.

LittleBigPlanet also got a prize for best Artistic Achievement.

But the last awards in 2007 caused controversy because some of the games had been nominated before they were on sale in the shops, and some hadn't even been finished.
