St Bernards are famous for rescuing people, but one young dog needed saving himself when he fell through some ice on a pond in Montana in America.
The 16-month-old animal managed to pull himself out of the chilly waters, but ended up getting frozen to the ice.
Luckily someone spotted the dog called Duke and called for help. Two fire fighters used an ice sled to reach him.
They broke the ice around Duke's tail with a mallet, before hauling the dog, and a chunk of ice, back to shore.
The shivering creature was taken back to a vets' clinic and then reunited with his owners.
Duke is now feeling much better after being warmed up under a blow-dryer.
