Scotland in Six Nations victory

Simon Danielli scores a try for Scotland

Scotland have beaten Italy in the Six Nations at Murrayfield - their first win of the competition.

Wing Simon Danielli and flanker Scott Gray scored tries either side of half time to take Scotland to a 26-6 victory over the visitors.

Italy battled throughout the match but came up against a well-organised Scotland defence

The result was very bad news for Italy who have lost three games and are heading for the wooden spoon.

On Friday France dashed Wales' hopes of a back-to-back Grand Slam after beating the defending champions 21-16 in Paris.

And on Saturday England face Ireland in Dublin.
