Duffy's delight at Brit hat-trick

Duffy was the big winner at the Brit awards, picking up three prizes.

As well as winning best British female artist and best album, for Rockferry, she was also voted best breakthrough act by Radio 1 listeners.

But she missed out on best single to Girls Aloud, whose hit The Promise earned them their first ever Brit.

Kings of Leon also had a good night, winning best international group and album, but Coldplay went home empty-handed, despite four nominations.

They were beaten by indie band Elbow as best British group, while ageing rockers Iron Maiden were named best live act.

Meanwhile, Katy Perry and Kanye West scooped the prizes for best international male and female.
