The first new mainline steam engine to be built in Britain for nearly five decades has made its first long-distance passenger trip into London.
The train took more than six hours to complete the 250-mile journey from Darlington to Kings Cross - stopping at York, Retford and Peterborough Yard along the way.
The apple-green engine has taken more than 18 years to build and cost a whopping £3 million, which has been raised through donations by steam and rail fans.
