The animals were found in darkness
Officials in Chile in South America say they stopped a small fishing boat on Monday packed with more than 400 exotic animals on board.
The creatures, including parrots, squirrels, and even baby alligators, were packed into boxes and hidden in darkness.
They had been smuggled from Peru to be sold on for thousands of dollars.
Officials said the man in charge of the boat will probably face charges, including mistreating animals.
In total, 348 turtles, 20 parrots, 25 squirrels, 3 toucans, 11 alligators and 20 macaws were discovered on board the boat.
The animals were sent back to Peru.
