A six-year-old boy in America wanted to get to school so much that when he missed his bus, he took the keys to his parents' car and tried to drive there.
The boy travelled six miles before he crashed, and when he got out, he tried to continue his journey on foot.
He told police in Virginia that he hadn't wanted to miss breakfast or PE.
Officers said it was a miracle the boy hadn't been more seriously hurt. His parents have been charged with putting him in danger.
The boy, who hasn't been named, said that when he missed the school bus, he ran back inside and grabbed the car keys, while his mum was asleep.
He told officers he had learnt how to drive a car by playing computer games, and managed to see where he was going by putting his head out of the car window.
During his journey, he travelled a over a bridge and turned twice, before losing control of the car and crashing into a pole.
Back to school
Police said the boy, who wasn't wearing a seat-belt, escaped with minor injuries and after being treated at hospital was taken back to school.
But they said it could have been much more serious, and other people on the road could have got hurt.
The boy and his four-year-old brother have now been taken into care.
