People in Britain weren't the only ones to wake up to snow-covered scenes like this one in Essex, as the white stuff has also been falling in lots of places across the world...

No wonder these bikes are covered in snow, it looks much too cold to cycle around Brussels, the capital of Belgium!

There was also trouble for travellers in Germany, with flights stopped at Dusseldorf International Airport for a bit because of the wintry weather.

And on the roads there were traffic jams and accidents across the country.

But this boy had the right idea - he had no trouble getting around with his mum to pull him on a sledge!

These tourists in Paris were over the moon to see a snow-covered Eiffel Tower.
