Paul Jewell has resigned as manager of Championship side Derby County.
The decision was announced after Derby lost 1-0 to Ipswich at a home game on Sunday. The match was Jewell's 50th game in charge of the Rams.
Jewell joined Derby County in November 2007 and led the team to a Carling Cup semi-final with Manchester United.
But the Rams are now 18th in the table and a statement said Jewell "feels he is no longer in a position to take the club forward".
Assistant coach Chris Hutchings will take charge of the team while the club looks for a replacement manager.
