Schools closed after snow storms

Snow in Harrogate in Leeds

More than four hundred schools across England and Scotland have been closed after heavy snow falls overnight.

A lot of those are in Yorkshire, which seems to have been hit hardest by the snow, which is still falling.

It should feel slightly warmer than on Wednesday in some areas, but there are still warnings to be very careful.

Lots of roads are very dangerous in the areas where it has been snowing, and you'll still need to wrap up warm.

Things could get worse in some areas, as snow is still falling and beginning to settle in places like east Yorkshire.

But other areas that were expected to be covered in snow on Thursday seem to have missed the worst of the bad weather.
